We have completed Dante’s Inferno and before we begin Purgatory, we are going to take a break to learn and practice mindfulness.
In this course, we will go on a guided tour of the many ways mindfulness can help us reduce stress and pain, improve our health, increase our happiness, and find meaning in our lives. We’ll explore both the modern science and the ancient wisdom behind mindfulness, and we’ll learn practical techniques to integrate this powerful tool for positive change into our daily routines.
Whether we’re a beginner or a longtime practitioner of mindfulness, this course will deepen our understanding of mindfulness and help us integrate it at home and at work, in our relationships and our self-identity, and as we grow and evolve.
This is a video course in which we will both learn and practice mindfulness. Discussion will be limited to sharing our experience with mindfulness.
Sunday mornings at 11 in the St. Francis Room.
